Welcome to Ms. Whyte's
class website! On our site you will find information about our class, links to support student learning, pictures from school activities, and
information about opportunties available in our community.
Can you believe it's almost summer? As we wrap up our year we will learn about ocean animals, the sea, and the beach. We will read fiction and non-fiction books and poems to explore a different topic each day. In writing, we will continue to practice letter writing and we will write letters to persuade someone to do something. In math, we will bring closure to our last math unit on addition and subtraction, fractions, and money. Please review and practice these math skills with your child through the summer! Summer Vacation Activities
Please look for summer vacation reading, writing, and math activities to come home in your child's report card envelope on the last day of school. Additional copies of the documents will be posted on the Woodlin Website. We encourage all families to participate in the MCPLibrary summer reading program. MCPL has events for children all summer at the libraries. MCPL list of summer events.
