International Talk Like a Pirate Day ~ September 19th

Miss Whyte got us all pirate hats that we could wear at school to celebrate Pirate Day. We read the book, How I Became a Pirate. Then we followed directions to create our own "Jolly Roger" (flag) and we wrote short pirate stories on the back to share with our friends as they sailed on our desks all day. Our favorite saying was "AAArrrrrrggg!!!" |
